I have the same question Report abuse. Details required :. Cancel Submit. Marilou Ser Microsoft Agent. Disable any third party anti-virus too. Could be a midi loop somewhere too Are you using USB3 ports on the computer?

Due to the age of the microlite maybe it needs USB2 port on the computer. Still not working. Perhaps something happened in a Win10 update? Who the hell knows. I do recognize part of the issue; on reboot sometimes my two motu racks hang with all lights on.

I then shutdown the computer and it works again. It only happens on reboot. Because the power settings are tweaked for a DAW my pc never suspends, so i can't comment on that. Windows Pro won't help; my pc runs it and the problem has been the same on the two pc's that i had before. It happened on windows 7, 8, 8. I can tell you one thing I have the micro Express and I don't ever have this problem. Windows 10 home. But, I never put my computer to sleep. So, another option would be to ditch the micro lite and go one step up.

The micro Express has a firmware update as well. The driver architecture has not really changed since w7, so it could well be there is no need for newer drivers. BSOD are pretty rare these days. Either some hardware is borked, or some serious driver problems. Have you tried disabling the m-audio and see if that changes something? Any pci cards that could crap out? Did you try another usb slot for the interface, to see if that changes anything? Maybe I have a defective interface.

I don't know. It's wonky operation is most frustrating. I think it's working I unplug and reset the USB port, and I think it's working, and it's not. I restart the computer, and I think it's working Over and over I repeat this crap. It doesn't matter if the Micro Lite is placed on a powered hub or a dedicated port.

Over and over again, this thing fails me. But why do I repeat it over and over? Well, sometimes it works! I just can't tell if it's a Windows 10 vs. USB issue or the interface is actually borked. It's not Windows unfortunately.
