I was eager to learn more about our history and what goes on behind the scenes. I would also like to see the rich culture and history that the Barossa prides itself on, to never fade.
I think its important for tourists to not only look at the Barossa for its wine industry but for its story as well. I think that it is our history, our sense of community and our rich culture that sets us apart. I guess what I hope to achieve is making others aware of this.
I grew up in WA until I was five and then my family moved to the Barossa. What I hope to achieve out of the young ambassadors is to gain skills in marketing, good communication and a better understanding about the Barossa. As a young Ambassador I wish to widely promote the Barossa interstate and also internationally.

Our event, Friday Night Live - is aimed at young-youngish people. For this event to work well will be a huge promise to the future young ambassadors and for the people that attend! This programme has taught us a lot already about the Barossa, perhaps things we should have known, but to work in such a large group of young people, I hope we achieve enough for the community to understand our hard work.

When Angaston really comes to life village green at 7. The village green will be a hub of activity with live music from Free Genie, adding to the vibe of the morning. Angaston will come alive on Wednesday, April 3 from 7. Taking a different format this year, the Angaston main street will remain open throughout the day, offering people the opportunity to come and go as they please.
The morning will start with a big community breakfast in the Angaston. Beyond the main street there are several key events, which will contribute to making the Angaston Town Day a success.
